when I watched the POTUS yesterday answer the questions like a thoughtful, adult and then see tRump today dismiss and diss the POTUS I just want to swear and cry all at once. The difference between what we have now and what possibly could be the slimeball that could be President???? Well, I just can't watch him who shall not be named again.

(5,644 posts)I rarely watch any news especially when it starts off with the GOtP. I speed past all of it until I get to the part about the Dems.

It's hard.

(4,459 posts)... that the republican party is so internally dysfunctional and chaotic that it is involuntarily succumbing to a hostile take over by a reality teevee star who's ACTING like a reality teevee star.
At least Reagan had the decency to ACT (B level as it was) like a politician.

(4,459 posts)... teevee star. I don't think he's acting at all. He really is an arrogant, know-nothing asshole in love with his name and fame.
I have tried for months to figure out why he's getting so much support. I have had several theories, but it still remains a mystery to me. I live in the deep South, and the majority of my friends and acquaintances are conservative republicans - and yet I don't know a single person actually supporting Trump. Some toyed with the idea early on - kinda like they thought about jumping on the "chaos theory" band wagon - but they all pretty quickly abandoned him, called him uncouth, disrespectful and a divisive ass, and started looking at one of the other dolts.
I still can't figure out this creature we know as a Trump supporter. I'd like to perhaps capture one and study it. Or at least locate one in the wild and observe it from under a blind for a couple of weeks.

Someone should tell this station that there is news OTHER than Donald Trump in the US right now. Hell, someone should tell them we don't REVOLVE around this damned primary.
MSNBC has already made me sick of this election.
