The loyal pet of a Houston clerk has been waiting outside the man’s apartment for more than two weeks — but his owner will never return, because he was murdered on the job.

Every day since then, Abuharbid’s German shepherd has been spotted wandering outside his apartment, glancing around for his owner, perking up at the sight of passing cars, neighbors said.
