GAWKER: Flight Logs Put Clinton, Dershowitz on Pedophile Billionaire’s Sex Jet

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by one_voice (a host of the General Discussion forum).

Bill Clinton took repeated trips on the " Lolita Express"—the private passenger jet owned by billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein—with an actress in softcore porn movies whose name appears in Epstein's address book under an entry for "massages," according to flight logbooks obtained by Gawker and published today for the first time. The logs also show that Clinton shared more than a dozen flights with a woman who federal prosecutors believe procured underage girls to sexually service Epstein and his friends and acted as a "potential co-conspirator" in his crimes.

Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 in Florida to one count of soliciting underage girls for sex (and one count of adult solicitation), for which he served just over a year in county jail. But sprawling local, state, and federal investigations into the eccentric investor's habit of paying teen girls for "massages"—sessions during which he would allegedly penetrate girls with sex toys, demand to be masturbated, and have intercourse—turned up a massive network of victims, including 35 female minors whom federal prosecutors believed he'd sexually abused. He has reportedly settled lawsuits from more than 30 "Jane Doe" victims since 2008; the youngest alleged victim was 12 years old at the time of her abuse.

something like this. The investigation happened under his watch (when Karl Rover was his chief of staff) and the chances of letting a well known Democratic family go untouched is highly unlikely.

There is a giant leap from riding on a personal plane to involvement with minors. Gawker shows absolutely nothing to back up their extraordinary claims. Of course, this story has been poured over by the British and American press for years. It is interesting that there is suddenly a supposed link to Bill Clinton.

there was one flight in media reports for years... the numerous flights discovered by Gawker only came to light a year ago, and the numerous flights Clinton shared with his two procurers:

Two female associates of Epstein—the socialite Ghislaine Maxwell and Epstein's former assistant Sarah Kellen—have been repeatedly accused in court filings of acting as pimps for him, recruiting and grooming young girls into their network of child sex workers, and frequently participating in sex acts with them. Kellen in particular was believed by detectives in the Palm Beach Police Department, which was the first to start unraveling the operation, to be so deeply involved in the enterprise that they prepared a warrant for her arrest as an accessory to molestation and sex with minors.

Clinton shared Epstein's plane with Kellen and Maxwell on at least 11 flights in 2002 and 2003—before any of the allegations against them became public—according to the pilots' logbooks, which have surfaced in civil litigation surrounding Epstein's crimes.

It doesn't even give Clintonites pause that Clinton was globetrotting with these people...

And anyone that points it out is just bring up old (true) things...

The fact that you guys ignore all of this behaviour is really gross.

DID HE OR DIDN'T HE?....This story may or may not be true, but legend has it that during one of Lyndon Johnson's congressional campaigns he decided to spread a rumor that his opponent was a pig-fucker. LBJ's campaign manager said, "Lyndon, you know he doesn't do that!" Johnson replied, "I know. I just want to make him deny it."

And that's what will happen here. This story (and others) will be repeated often enough so that Clinton eventually has to speak up and deny it.

I've brought up nobody's spouse as a means of attacking a candidate, nor will I. It's irrelevant. You, however, have done exactly that by bringing up an old story that has no evidence of any wrongdoing on Clinton's part. It is condemnation of a candidate by attacking her spouse, despite no evidence of any wrongdoing.

I find such tactics, no matter who uses them, to be despicable and suspicious, frankly. I expect the right-wing to put such things forward. I do not expect to see it on DU, directed at the leading presidential candidate in 2016. And yet, here it is, right at the top of your thread.

You'll forgive me if I question your motives, I'm sure.

He has a much more overpowering personality than she does, he thinks he knows everything anyway, and he has already had the job regardless of how well you may think he did. He's going to be calling the shots. She would be well advised to hire a few interns to entertain him and keep him away from the campaign trail. The fact that she doesn't do that tells me all I need to know about who's in charge.

You think Clinton got special treatment by the Republican administration of George W. Bush? Look up Alabama Governor Siegelman to get an idea of how the Republicans treat powerful Democrats.

The story also does not say Clinton was on the plane with Epstein, it merely says he rode on the plane. You need to get a grip and stop smearing the former President until more proof is revealed. If he is in fact a pedophile I'll be the first to condem him and make sure the story is heard. Until then, I'm going to remember that rumor doesn't equal guilt. Something African Americans have shown the rest of America lately.

TPM 2012

Great Moments In Dan Burton History

Vince Foster Was Murdered -- Shooting A Melon Proves It

Burton's true magnum opus was a floor speech he delivered on the evening of August 2, 1994. The hour-long speech addressed the death of Deputy White House Counsel Vince Foster, which was ruled a suicide. But Burton alleged that the body had been moved to its location at Fort Marcy Park in northern Virginia, and that Foster may not have fired the gun at all. The implication was that Foster was murdered, which Burton further expressed by insisting there was a connection between Foster's death and the Whitewater investigation of the Clintons' business dealings in Arkansas.

Most notable was his own home forensic experiment to disprove the official finding that those in the area of the park would not have heard the sound of a gunshot, because of the combination of traffic and construction noises, and Foster's own head muffling the sound.

"We, at my house, with a homicide detective, tried to re-create a head, and fired .384-inch barrel into that, to see if the sound could be heard from a hundred yards away. Even though there was an earth-mover moving around in the background, making all kinds of racket -- and you could hear the bullet clearly."

Burton's prop used for the experiment was variously reported as a watermelon or a pumpkin, though other sources have since said it was really a cantaloupe.

I think the Democrats put the right wing "crotch sniffers" to bed in 1998 [See mid terms]... Not going to relitigate it today...But don't forget to wave the blue dress if, as a Bernie supporter, you want to go down that road....

New York Times
THE 1998 ELECTIONS: CONGRESS -- THE OVERVIEW; G.O.P. IN SCRAMBLE OVER BLAME FOR POOR SHOWING AT THE POLLS

By ALISON MITCHELL and ERIC SCHMITT
Published: November 5, 1998

Stunned by the Democratic resurgence in the midterm elections, Congressional Republicans tore into one another yesterday over who was to blame for their failure to make the traditional opposition party gains in an off-year election.

The soul-searching and recriminations -- and a possibility of Congressional leadership challenges -- came as election results showed that Republicans had been unable to increase their 55-to-45-vote margin in the Senate and that Democrats had picked up five seats in the House.

The Democratic surge was the first time since 1934 that the President's party had gained seats in a midterm election and it whittled the Republican lead in the House down to 12 votes and the majority to 6. The Democratic victories were even more remarkable in a year marked by the monthslong scandal over President Clinton's affair with Monica S. Lewinsky.

This is all about the "anyone but Hillary" camp that began as the anti Obama camp here on DU. They hated Obama, the hated the Democratic party, they hated anyone who did not fit in their "purity" test, and then they started the "anybody but Hillary" group. They jumped on the Bernie band wagon, took over the Bernie Sanders group, and have been posting constantly on how terrible Clinton is instead of actually working to get Bernie elected. Hell they even have their own site now all about getting Bernie elected, yet they still come here day in and day out to post their "scorched earth" attack on Clinton.

It's not all of those who support Bernie, but a sub group that has gone ballistic on Clinton. They include those who constantly post they won't be voting for her if she wins the nomination, they toss out "others" to vote for, or to write in Bernie's name. We see this every election, but this year Karl Rove's bros, have taken their insanity to a new level of hate.

There is no suggestion any of the individuals named in the book participated in or knew of Epstein’s abuse of minors, or were involved in any effort to pressure prosecutors.

But Epstein’s contacts book – seen by the Guardian – reads like a directory of the world’s global elite.

Under the letter B alone are listed Tony Blair, Michael Bloomberg, and Richard Branson. Elsewhere there are multiple contacts – typically at offices, homes, and via aides’ mobile phones – for Bill Clinton, Rupert Murdoch, Donald Trump, Dustin Hoffman, Naomi Campbell, and dozens of other A-listers.
