Or what are the signs? If you bring up, for example, Obama's executive orders, than you might be in the wrong spot to make that argument.

It doesn't really matter, though, as this thread will be locked as well.

I'm going to assist the original poster. Here are the 14 characteristics of fascism, as defined by Dr. Lawrence Britt who examined the fascist regimes of Hitler (Germany), Mussolini (Italy), Franco (Spain), Suharto (Indonesia) and several Latin American regimes.

1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism
2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights
3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause
4. Supremacy of the Military
5. Rampant Sexism
6. Controlled Mass Media
7. Obsession with National Security
8. Religion and Government are Intertwined
9. Corporate Power is Protected
11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts
12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment
13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption
14. Fraudulent Elections

Any of that seem familiar?

Because that's probably the least academic definition of fascism I've ever read.

Maybe you could toss us a citation? Because I'm having trouble locating Dr. Britt's work -- or any mention of him -- in the usual databases.

just an indication that you posted in the wrong forum. If your post had to do with the primary it should go into GD-P instead of the GD group.

I don't know what post you're talking about but not all locked posts are thought to belong in the conspiracy theory group.

Copy and paste it into GDP, instead of whining that you are being censored with no one to complain to. Did you even read the host's reason for locking? It said NOTHING about your post belonging in the conspiracy forum. It did say it belonged in the General discussion-Primary forum. Also known as GD-P

If you read the rules for posting, you saw

Threads complaining about Democratic Underground or its members; threads complaining about jury decisions, locked threads, suspensions, bannings, or the like; and threads intended to disrupt or negatively influence the normal workings of Democratic Underground and its community moderating system are not permitted.

What is and is not allowed is fairly transparent.... if you read the SoP.

Statement of Purpose

Discuss politics, issues, and current events. Posts about Israel/Palestine, religion, guns, showbiz, or sports are restricted in this forum. Posts about the Democratic primaries, conspiracy theories and disruptive meta-discussion are forbidden.

The are many mods who do not have a clue about the rules, and they lock threads that belong in the forum they are posted.

Reword your post and try again -- maybe the person who incorrectly locked your post will be sleeping.

On edit: This thread is definitely a no-no, and it should be locked.
