I'd believe this meme more . . . .

. . . . if the people that posted it would actually rip on a Republican.

Just once.

ONE Republican politician. ONE Republican policy. ONE. Take 'em to task. Tell us why they're wrong. Tell us why their policies are reprehensible.

Just once.

I'll be over here waiting . . .

one agreed with Republicans. We know they reek. To start criticizing them policy by policy is redundant, stating the obvious, and a waste of time.

So, I think your premise is faulty. So you may be waiting for a while.

Of course no one is posting that here.

It's more a commentary on "apolitical" or "libertarian" or "independents" who say this; yet, 98% of their political, economic and social criticisms for some strange reason are never ever EVER levied towards greedy wealthy folks or the party that starts with an "R". EVER. Even ONCE.

I'm a progressive who votes Democratic. I don't know, I don't see that as something to be ashamed to say. I don't see why I'd be afraid to own that. For all of this "personal responsibility" claptrap they spew, they sure aren't ones for owning up to what they preach.

GOP policies. I have seen OPs before that bemoaned the fact that we were criticizing (vetting is the new word, evidently ) Democratic politicians and policies, and asked why we did not criticize the GOP.

I think the number of "neither" folks will grow, because there is just no way, IMO, anyone can agree with all of what a politician/party stands for, any more.

For all the "purity" charges flung at Bernie's supporters, for example, the biggest "purity" demand is the one that demands that we back any Democrat, and not question any issues. That is obviously not going to work.

Interesting times, indeed!
