The press and pundits still miss the boat on Trump's appeal.

Issues have nothing to do with it at the end of the day. The sad bottom line is that many Americans, especially the kind who vote in Republican primaries, love a strong-man who they see as someone who can bully and bluster his way to the top. Trump is the silverback of the group (no offense intended to the honorable Mountain Gorilla). .

I think the idea raising the retirement age to 70 is not going over to well with even republican voters. It played well in the room in front of the establishment and a large section of Rubio supporters, but the people at home just made their choice for Trump on the Social Security issue.
