Thank You Protesters For Doing To Trump What They Should Have Done To Hitler

Trump has zero solutions to our nation's and our world's problems.

Just hate, and pitting one group against another while the 1%ers are robbing our families blind, and running our government like their own piggy banks.

Just ask all them corporations why they pay no taxes, but others have to.

Thank You Chicago.

Anyone not bringing people together to solve Actual Problems is the problem.

Thanks Again Chicago.

Trump should stay in his gilded bubble world and let us working our asses off just scratching by to have the microphone for once.

There were so many of them! You could hear them shouting, "Bernie! Bernie! Bernie! on the CNN video. There were large numbers of protesters there. More than I've ever seen for any Trump rally.

They all knew that they'd be thrown out and ridiculed--or maybe worse!

They are all heroes in my book.

I believe many of the protesters inside the arena were students and faculty. There was also a huge contingent outside in cordoned off area.

Are we sure it's the way forward in a democracy? Debating by means of intruding in the other side's political rallies? Not sure it's progress.

Someone is pushing back against the hate and intolerance.

I am sure the haters are not gonna grow up any time soon though.

Load up on popcorn folks.

BTW I was in Seattle when those girls wouldn't let Bernie speak.

I wanted to throw them off the stage, but I didn't.

It's called restraint.

Does not apply in Rightwingistan.

Rush, and Fox News has warped so many people's minds that our country is ready to crumble.

Thanks Mr. Ailes, Murdock, Rush, and the rest of the scumbags who profit on hate and division.

The weirdest thing I've seen on DU has been comparisons of Trump rally attendees as "brownshirts", with apparent and utter ignorance of the fact that the brownshirts were folks who disrupted political gatherings of Hitler's OPPONENTS.

Trumpeters now consider themselves to have a license to disrupt other political rallies. The problem is, having been fed the myth that Trumpnprotesters have been violent, that is precisely what they'll do.

Trump's supporters are insane.

We shouldn't hurt insane people, just find a way for them to get the help they need.

Sorry, I am not planning on hitting anyone at any rally I attend, even if they are dumbasses.

For the last 24 hours there's been the guy who punched the protester at a Trump rally, and there have been previous incidents involving what amount to handfuls of people engaged in scuffles at rallies attended by thousands of people.

Trump supporters don't tend to show up at Clinton or Sanders rallies, because they don't care to hear what Clinton or Sanders have to say.

It's really not at all difficult to avoid going to campaign rallies of candidates one detests. Honest - it's really simple.

But I suspect some Trump supporters are going to get this notion of "turnabout is fair play" and start showing up in places where their presence is not welcome. And if you think supporting a decent candidate is some kind of magic character trait that uniformly applies to every individual in a crowd of thousands of people, then you have a disappointment in store.

Universities in the area, in a very diverse community, within a highly diverse city. His free speech wasn't violated. He has the right to say what he wants, but that isn't free from consequences. Nor is it free from people saying, we don't like what you are saying, and is sews division in our community, so no thanks. The students, teachers and local community and leaders did not want him crawling on their lawn or doorstep. Take that shit somewhere else, not welcome here.

Thank you to the community of UIC and surrounding residents for turning Trump away. Maybe your strength will give other communities the guts to speak out against hate, and rethink the message that everyone is afraid to talk about and put an end to. The only place hate and racism has a place for in our society, is history books.

Nazis or Italy's Fascists were the ones attacking political rallies. I'm really not sure the people who gloat about the protesters in Chicago realize what a slippery slope this all is.

Until today.

Some folks showed "them" there may be consequences when you pathetically talk down about other Americans constantly.

The same old BS doesn't work like it used to.

It doesn't matter how many times Trump reads Mein Kampf things are different now.

It's not just white middle class ignorant fuksticks that are angry.

Time the media had something to show this fact.

Seriously?

You know, our candidates say things they don't like hearing either.

Since when does one "get away with" speaking one's mind in this country?

Trump's opinions are ignorant and repulsive. But so fucking what?

Because if you want to turn this into a contest of "who is better at shutting up the other folks" then who do you think is going to be reaching for their guns first?

Vacuum as in what is truly between an Republican Trump Supporter's ears.

I am glad someone did something about the hate speech, and calls for violence.

People that go looking for trouble like Trump, always and I mean always find it.

Today trouble found him, and shut him down.

America's problems are not caused by brown or black people, they are caused by people who's greed is beyond measure, and who's profits our military will defend at any human cost.

Some of us resist the divide and conquer stuff.

We refuse to be divided, and absolutely refused to be conquered by a Fascist like Trump.

It has been since last summer. As soon as Trump called hispanics rapists and murders, and threatened to deport 11 million of them, it was over. Hispanics are one of the largest voting blocks in the country now. Ted Cruz's team did research and figured that the republican nominee needs at least 40% of the hispanic vote to win the White House. Right now, Trump has about 10% and that number has been falling steadily in the last few months. With hispanics, blacks, women, and millenials on the democratic side and as we saw tonight, very motivated, it doesn't matter how many angry old white people Trump gets, he cannot win. But we need to stand up to fascism, wherever it pops up. We cannot tolerate it for an instant. We need to show these Trump fuckers that we will never let them spread their Klan philosophy in this country. They aren't the majority and it is time they felt that fact in their core.

I have a friend who is a livid Trump Supporter. Our polite political conversations always stop on him saying "I don't know anything about that" and then we go back to talking business till next subject.

Sad, my friend is a good guy, but buys Trumps promises.

Remember folks, Trump says some things that are actually true, unlike most Republicans. That makes it much harder.....

One never, ever lets a racist spew their racism without pushback.

You confront them, tell them they are NOT allowed to call your neighbor names!

You NEVER, EVER tsk, tsk, tsk and walk away to let them repeat, repeat, repeat their racism because NO ONE CALLED THEM ON IT.

What ever else Donald Trump is, he is first and foremost a RACIST. He made that abundantly clear on the day he announced his candidacy.

Sorry, Donald Trump, I will not stand by silently while you call my friends, neighbors and Americans racist things.

I will stand against racism in every form.
