Thus the logic of Sanders's own argument is that the party must unite behind a consensus nominee. It therefore behooves every Democrat, even those who might prefer a Sanders nomination, to back Hillary Clinton.

Nope. In fact, I believe a Hillary nomination will give us President Trump.

I do agree with you that the article is "shit".

Don't engage in messy democracy!

The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

The article makes some interesting points but if our democratic primary season must be cut short to save ourselves it loses me. That's just panic inducing, fear mongering of the worst sort. If we need to give up our rights to engage in elections, even primary, we lost long before this.
