(3,660 posts)Her die-hard supporters may feel otherwise, but her numbers never grew. Regardless of how you feel about Bernie, if you look at the polling Hillary's numbers general flat-lined or shrunk some. She doesn't poll well with independents and has a high unfavorables.
The lies during the debates and the unnecessary attacks and misrepresentations have turned off a lot of people that would have sucked it up in Nov despite her corruption.
I think she'll have to rely on Trump-fear more than anything else to have a chance in Nov.

And the pseudo-Sanders voters just using his candidacy to stir up cr*p on the Left.

(3,660 posts)The polling said it was only around 33% that wouldn't. 67% is technically "most" as you said.

(24,692 posts)He represents hate and fear. Many republicans, some independents and perhaps a few Democrats buy into that.
Stopping him with a perfect (MY) candidate is easy to support is the perfect solution. Stopping him with an imperfect (YOUR) candidate is tougher but still needs to be done. The "MY" and "YOUR" candidates will vary depending on whether one is a Democrat (supporter of Bernie or Hillary), independent or republican and where one is on the ideological spectrum, but the 'civic duty' to oppose fear and hate remains the same.

(50,302 posts)We're headed for a "mid-term" turnout unless something short of a miracle happens. Elizabeth Warren was very evasive about answering Hillary questions this morning so maybe she's in line for Veep. That would certainly help.

(5,498 posts)Especially with republican turn out so high, I don't understand why they are coming out in droves to vote for a crazy man.
