They're coming out of the woodwork now;
Louise Mayerson, 84, who left her native Austria as a child when her family fled the Nazis, said she received an aonmyous envelope in the mail shortly after her letter to the editor was published in the Globe on March 2.
In her letter, Mayerson described herself as an Austrian refugee from the time of Hitler and said the Republican presidential frontrunners failure to immediately repudiate [former Klan leader David] Duke chilled my blood.
Days later, Mayerson said, she received an envelop containing a copy of the KKK symbol that featured a square white cross set against a red backrop. The envelope was postmarked from Boston, she said.
Here's her original letter, and a follow up letter she wrote a few days later;
Fuck Trump and fuck whoever mailed that threat to that brave woman.

(3,473 posts)But yeah, we get your point.
The Big Bang was 13.8 billion years ago, so nothing could be more than 13.8 billion light-years away.

(3,473 posts)but I don't believe so. Look up 'Observable universe' in Wikipedia. There is also a difference between 'comoving distance' and 'proper distance'. I've read over this stuff several times and I'm still lost.

(15,772 posts)Even when Trump kinda says he doesn't want them they come back. Unlike flies who number in the billions Neo Nazis, and Klan are vastly out numbered by those who would celebrate their demise.

(27,248 posts)This was during the bush years. I have been hesitant since then to write letters. My husband told me I was a coward to not use the power of the pen but I was nervous about the threat from the bush supporter. Who is probably a drumpf supporter now.

(18,470 posts)We've tried to tell the editor local paper that was pretty damn stupid to do that but he was insistent on putting in the full street address. Even after letter writers were getting harassed, getting obscene mail, pictures of themselves mailed to them, and so on. Finally this boneheaded editor changed the policy down to just putting the street the people live on. I suspect he was going to continue putting the full addresses in but either the police or the newspaper's lawyers told him that needed to change. I still have stupid people sending me crap every time I write a letter, I just send it to the circular file without even reading it.

Donald Trump Wins Ku Klux Klan Presidential Nomination
"Donald Trump has won the Ku Klux Klan presidential nomination. We were just waiting on results from Alabama and Mississippi, both of which are routinely late and have an archaic nominating process called a 'hollerin' caucus,'" declared a masked man in a white robe wearing a pointy hat.

He begs his 'audience' to react violently against protesters. Cannot stand criticism of any kind.
