I'm trying to figure this place and its denizens out.

One school of thought says this is satirical, sort of like r/MURICA/.

I'm not sure this is the case.

I'm thinking, based on some obvious brigading in other subreddits, like r/politics/, that these are mostly genuine Trump supporters, also with elements from redpill/gamergate/PUA subreddits, and denizens of the banned subreddit r/Coontown/. Misogynists, racists, and other assorted assholes out spewing poison for the lulz.
