Mitt compares Newt to Lucy in Chocolate Factory. Newt says, "Say that to my face."

Last edited Wed Dec 28, 2011, 05:04 AM - Edit history (2)

On Newt's Virginia ballot flub:

MITT: I think he compared that to, uh, was it Pearl Harbor? I think
it's more like Lucille Ball at the chocolate factory.

Newt responds in Wolf interview:

NEWT: I have a very simple message for Mitt Romney. I'll meet
him anywhere in Iowa, for 90 minutes, just the two us, in a debate,
with a timekeeper, no moderator. I'd love to have him say that to my
face.

Say something like it being an honor to be compared to Lucille Ball or that it sure can feel like that on the campaign trail with everything heating up and then move on like it's not worth more time.

This shows how neither is presidential material. Biden would have made a great joke out of it, Hilary would have smiled and said something gracious with a bit of zing, Obama would have laughed it off and moved on, but no, these two have to make the lame joke and the even lamer response. What idiots.
