34. well, let's see
Sat Mar 26, 2016, 12:17 AM
Mar 2016

Some facts:

1. It was soaring to the top of Greatest threads right before a major primary and caucus day
2. Everyone was going to see it clearly and obviously on the front page
3. It put Bernie Sanders in a very positive and feel-good light
4. It was getting lots and lots of attention and replies and 'recs'
5. It had already gotten over five thousand views

I don't know.

My opinion is that since the actual news in question WAS the video clip itself and it was FIRST seen on YouTube, then it should have been considered a foundational-source and a valid post for a LBN, but they said it didn't follow the terms of LBN. 'off topic' was what they noted

Of course this is a private site. The owners and their folks can do as they please.

54. Mojo! He's got mojo!
Sat Mar 26, 2016, 04:15 AM
Mar 2016

I was trying to think of the word for what this event felt like to me. I had a friend, Janie Phillips, who wrote a book in the '60s called "Mojo Hand" about a black jazz musician that a young college girl falls in love with. (It is considered a minor classic of black literature--though not very well known.)

Having mojo exactly describes what is happening when you are in tune with the very birds in the sky. You are plugged in. You are channeling the Muses. Inspiration comes to you. People come to you. Nature comes to you. Success comes to you but you don't even notice it because you are listening to the Music of the Spheres and it is beautiful beyond belief.

Bernie Sanders has mojo.
