Recently, Dr. Ulfakatte went on public television stating that he was forced to publish the works of intelligence agents under his own name, also adding that noncompliance with these orders would result in him losing his job.

In a recent interview he fantasized about all the “living space” (Lebensraum) ethnic Germans could have if only they could conduct forced deportation of all the Turkish and Arab people living in Germany. No matter that nearly all of Dr. Ulfkotte’s hateful diatribes are based on lies: he is a much sought-after guest for TV talk shows and discussion panels.

But even Dr. Ulfkotte may have outdone himself with his mostrecent piece on the right-wing Truther site of Kopp Verlag(with thanks to Politblogger). Germany is facing a health crisis due to vegetables tainted with E.coli. Naturally, Udo Ulfkotte seizes the opportunity for yet another attack on immigrants from Turkey:

There was a documentary I have been searching for that I saw in the 80's about how even back then, mainstream news networks, like ABC, had a government CIA person in the editing room to approve or disaprove of how a story went out. Peter Jennings in the room as well as they went over footage of a peace protest in Nicaragua, protesting US involement but was mostly made up of peace signs. They called it a peace march themselves. So Jennings spouted a practice line..."a peace protest in Managua..." . There the CIA mole interupted Jennings and said "Say an anti-Contra rally instead of peace protest", because gawd forbid the American public were ever to think that Nicaraguans just wanted to be left in peace.

And I often think back to that old documentary and wonder if that was then...how instilled in the major networks are they today?

The Ukraine crisis allowed Ulkotte to latch onto the Russian propaganda outlets and accuse the Western media of being controlled by the CIA. Also the Lügenpresse! battle-cry of the Pegida protesters has given Ulfkotte a convenient cover to go after the journalists who scorned or ignored him in the past. Now he can lie about how the mainstream press is in the pocket of the CIA:
