John Kasich ate pizza with a fork, that's what went wrong. And everyone is freaking out about it.
The Ohio governor somehow managed to alienate everyone amid the universally beloved act of eating pizza. It's almost impressive. You kind of have to respect, it right?
As with any politician's scandal, Kasich had to answer to the media.
"Look, look, the pizza came scalding hot, OK? And so I use a little fork," Kasich told Good Morning America today.

(5,297 posts)And I, an Ohioan, am no fan of Kasich.
Would never and have never voted for him, but I couldn't care less how he eats pizza.

New York has its attractions. We love it... and we hate it.
I'm ready for a change. Somewhere less crowded with fewer endless battles.
The kids don't want to move, which used to be the deciding factor. But at 26 and 23 can they come with us, or not.

(68,201 posts)and get to MoMA and uptown to the "house" museums (e.g. the Frick) for their exhibits or over to the Neue Galerie. However, I do love the museums in Boston and my daughter lives in the area and we take in the exhibits at the Gardner and the MFA regularly. Wonderful musuems!

(918 posts)just outside the city limits. 35 minutes on the train. Driving can be 35 minutes or two hours.
We're at Lincoln Center once a week and in the Village every weekend.
The daily battle is getting to me however. Time to go. Far!

(65,729 posts)nice to be able to take the train in. An hour or less from Norwalk, though I worked in the city, so on the weekends I was not really interested in going back into the city. My wife would come down to the city occasionally with our daughter.

(20,905 posts)This kind of shit makes me crazy. The focus on stupid, trivial shit that has absolutely nothing to do whatsoever with anything of any importance, while the truly important issues (including, as you say, what he's done to Ohio and the kind of truly horrible person he really is) are actually considered trivial.
Then again, what do you expect from a country whose citizens care more about what Kim Kardashian is wearing, saying and marrying than anything else and who got up in arms about apparent "vote fraud" on American Idol but yawned and shrugged at REAL vote fraud in REAL elections (2000, anyone?)

The Serious Eats Guide To Pizza In Naples
At a sit-down pizzeria, this is how it's done. You will never see a pizza come pre-cut into "slices," as that would cause the very soupy toppings to seep underneath and turn the whole thing soggy. You could try to manually cut it into slices, but they'll be so floppy that you'll need several extra fingers just to hold them out.
(I think they make a good point with regard to why pizza slices get soggy and how to prevent it.)
