(23,325 posts)He's playing to his base and repeating that "come join with us" mantra to everybody else, but he would not get a single "crossover" vote from Democrats or Independents. That means he's relying on winning the general election strictly on a turnout from his base.
Ain't gonna happen.
And Ksaich isn't the answer to their prayers, even if they chose to anoint him.
I see Ryan the same way as I see Cruz. We would have to see historic turnout among Republicans, and historic levels of Democrats staying home.
They're pretty much going to be stuck with The Donald.

(835 posts)trump even has traction. The GOP establishment is something else. they don't believe in fairness. Trump should win the nom if he has anything close to 1200 delegates.
