Source: Lovemeow
Two abandoned cat mothers were found in a garage. When they were turned into the shelter in a box, they clutched together with their eight tiny nursing kittens just days apart in age.
"Megan and Moha are inseparable and care for their wee ones interchangeably," Here Kitty Kitty Rescue (Elkhart, Indiana) said.
The torbie mother's name is Megan and the orange mother is Moha.
There are five orange tabbies, two torbies and one buff.
Three slightly bigger kittens are from one litter and the rest are from the other.
They all share their mamas' milk. Moha and Megan feed and care for them interchangeably.
While Megan is on a break, Mama Moha takes all eight tiny hungry babies.
Mama Megan returns and is ready to take her next shift.

(16,386 posts)And the orange and buff kits from the orange mamma? I'm unable to tell their respective sizes. I also wonder if the kitty daddy was also orange. Guess there's no way to know. Nobody's talkin. So adorable.

(6,133 posts)unbelievably cute that we would feed them. I wasn't serious of course, but the pictures here are amazingly cute, and my desire to protect them is stronger.
We have three cats, and our ritual is, when we buy pet supplies, is to go to the rescue kitten room, and argue over should we get this one...will it upset the balance we have now.
Those kittens are killers in cuteness with two great moms.

(50,566 posts)kittens (and other furry babies) much cuter than babies of our own species.
I say this as a person who gave birth to what turned out to be two extremely cute humans.
But, a kitten? Are you kidding me? No competition for cuteness right there.
You'd think a member of one species would find her own species' babies cuter than any other, just from an evolutionary standpoint. But nooooooo. There are a lot of ugly human babies, and I've never seen an ugly kitten.

(61,698 posts)butt-ugly babies. Of course they are sweet and precious, but not all human babies are created equal in the adorable dept.
A southern baptist minister I knew (and he was one of the really nice/good ones) said each time his wife gave birth, he had to pray that God would overwhelm him with adoration for his own offspring. And honestly, his kids were really cute. He just couldn't feel the love until he got to know them.

(17,505 posts)a typo of tabby?
But here's some nomenclature:
"A group of cats is referred to as a "clowder" or a "glaring",[40] a male cat is called a "tom" or "tomcat"[41] (or a "gib",[42] if neutered), an unaltered female is called a "queen",[43] and a juvenile cat is referred to as a "kitten". The male progenitor of a cat, especially a pedigreed cat, is its "sire",[44] and its female progenitor is its "dam".[45] In Early Modern English, the word 'kitten' was interchangeable with the now-obsolete word 'catling'.[46]" (from Wiki)

(31,404 posts)in a house full of cats.
I answered an ad in the paper in Lincoln, NE in 1995 for free kitties. I went to this house--a little old lady answered the door--
and there were cats everywhere! The biggest cat I'd ever seen was sleeping in a chair--took up the entire seat of the chair--
and I suspect that was Mouse's father. Both Mouse and Simba grew to be 22 lb cats as adults. They were inseparable
best buddies their entire lives.
This is one of my few photos of them that survived our house fire in 2007. They were 12 years old at the time. Mouse
lived to be 14 and Simba 17.

(24,045 posts)...easily end up as a crazy cat lady. It takes me about 30 seconds to fall in love with a kitten. I've said that here somewhere before, and a fellow cat lover responded, "Why so long?"
That is a big bunch of cuties.

(9,897 posts)Sadly, we lost him to a digestive system disorder and urinary blockages that we believe were related to the harsh conditions he faced as an abandoned kitten. He looked a lot like some of the kitten pictures and he was such a playful and happy kitten...he just never seemed destined to have a long adult life from the very start.
We miss him terribly since he died in February; and even the addition of a new kitten in March has not helped us forget poor "Mew" (which was all he did for weeks after we brought him...walk around and mew at everything!)...
I loathe humans that discard animals like trash, and I am always happy to see stories of animals caring for themselves or caring humans lending a hand when they find abandoned litters or even just abandoned pets.
