Uploaded March 29 by xSupaD, who describes himself as just another driver from BC, Canada who likes to share their dashcam videos, the one-minute-and-55-second clip (tinyurl.com/RoadKarma) shows the adventures of a Honda Civic as it drives in a parking lane, cuts off a vehicle when some parked cars get in the way, and then slides back into the parking lane and continues down the road.
At a red light, xSupaD catches up to the Honda Civic, and soon after red and blue lights can be seen reflecting off the body of another stopped car. It turns out the Civic has been pulled over by a Vancouver Police Department cruiser who has pulled up behind it, prompting the Civics driver to rage at xSupaD, who turned the dashcam sideways to show the police vehicle, and then records the upset Civic driver gesturing and shouting angrily out his window at him.

(33,507 posts)coming up Franklin Street here in Chapel Hill. It's a 4 lane road with a turning lane in the middle
for a good distance. Speed limit is 35 and drops to 30 around the curves and stays at 30 coming
in to the center of town/campus.
Speed limit is not enforced. It's not unusual for people to be doing 40-50 on that stretch of road.
I drive in the left lane coming up the hill because I have to turn left in to our neighborhood. I was
probably doing 35+. This guy behind me couldn't stand it--riding my tail--and the right lane
was occupied. So he pulls out in to the turn lane and passes me coming up the hill,
cuts back in front of me and takes off. He must have been doing 55 when he got in front of
me--in a 30 mph speed zone.
People are f'ing crazy. Just crazy. Driving is getting scarier all the time.

(33,507 posts)I was waiting to turn left--in a left only lane with a red arrow--when the stoplight turned red. This was also
on Franklin Street at a busy intersection adjacent to a shopping center. One car breezes through
as the light is turning to red, then another, all red, and a third blasts through when the light had been
red for several seconds. I couldn't believe it. I'm used to seeing people blow through the yellow turns
to red as they enter the intersection, but this was outrageous. And dangerous.

(72,525 posts)I was driving down a one-lane road a couple of weeks ago, and a guy ahead of me was going very slowly. I'm talking like 15mph in a 35 zone. There was no one ahead of him. He had been driving at a relatively normal speed until I drove up behind him (not on his bumper, like a dick; just behind him.) He began slowing down, slower, and slower, until we were practically crawling along. I didn't want to cross the double-yellow to pass him, because it's a road the cops patrol frequently. Finally, a left-turn lane came up, and I moved into it, sped up just enough to get past him, then returned to the driving lane. Technically, this was legal, since I passed him on the right.
The other guy must have gone berserk, because he hit his brights and came up right on my tail as fast as he could. I drove at the posted speed and prayed he didn't have a gun. Finally, we reached a two-lane stretch of road, and I wished he would pass me now that he was able. But he didn't. He kept on my tail the whole time. We finally reached the freeway on-ramp, and he peeled out ahead of me, roaring on the accelerator like assholes do, and made his way up the freeway, swerving in and out of the way of other cars until he disappeared into the distance.
Who is the jerk? Was it me for taking a step to get ahead of someone who was deliberately slowing me down? Or him for being a dangerous road-rage-monkey?

(25,406 posts)Driving at an excessively slow speed can be a tell-tale sign of that.
