That year I got a Madam Alexander doll - Cissy with the pink and white striped dress - from my Mom and a set of American Plastic Bricks from my Dad
I liked the bricks better, plus he renewed the National Geo mag subscription

8. The 1980 JCPenny catalog is seared into my brain.

I remember almost every toy in there.

LOL at the $887.00 VCR.

9. I still have the Fall/Winter 1973 J C Penneys catalog

as well as the Spring/Summer 1976 and Fall/Winter 1977 ones. They are used as a counterweight on a top-heavy curio.

I should take some time to look through them one day. It could be entertaining.

11. Last Christmas, I found a 1966 Herter's Catalog for my brother

We used to read every page of our Herter's Catalogs 'till the print wore off.
