This is the worst year for music that I can remember

Maybe during the late 60s it was worse, but damn, damn, and damn.

There have been a lot of losses lately, but looking over the 1960s through 1980s in particular, there were just a freaking lot of really talented people making really great music. Maybe the conditions in the music industry were good, too - not sure, but I do know that there was an unusual amount of good music from those years. Sadly, the birds are beginning to drop off the perches.
