Robocall from a woman with a perky clear voice, saying she had the information for us that we had requested via a tv commercial about back braces.
"Press 1 for more information"
Riiight.....
Interesting thing..the phone is in Mr. Dixie's name, and he got a back brace in December via Medicare, for his broken back.
(He is improving, happily)
Other interesting thing...

(12,250 posts)Mr. froggy answered the phone, and before hanging up checked with me to see if I'd asked for back brace info, since I have sciatica big time. Nope, I sure didn't.
I hate these scam calls with a passion. So does Mr. froggy.

For the second time I've been notified that the IRS is suing me, same thing: young, male, Indian subcontinent.
I finally tried psychological warfare when getting a human on the line. "This is a criminal activity! A scam! Does your mother know you are doing this?! Shame on you!"
Well, this assumes that there are still cultures on this planet where the opinion of one's mother still matters, and that there are people who still have a sense of shame. But you never know...
