I think we will see it used more and more around here. In headlines and other places too.
It is just an observation.
I do not advocate it's use, or am I opposed to it.
It is a good word often used by many. I have used it many times. (end of observation)

(38,726 posts)It has so many definitions that you need to clearly define what usage you are using.
Like..Oh F###. Like in Oh that is bad.
or..Why don't we F***? Now that might be good or bad depending on how and who you say it to.

I won't go through all of the States, but there are quite a few in line before Wisconsin.
Perhaps the post should have stated, "Wisconsin, what the hell were you thinking? Go take a shower, sleep it off, we will still love you in the morning."

(4,840 posts)subject lines but allow them in posts. I have personally adopted the same approach at DU. Though, I do sometimes use profanities in posts, I will keep them out of subject lines. But I'm not inflexible to giving profanity a rest if that ever became the policy at DU.

(51,308 posts)the constant use of profanity shows a deplorable lack of vocabulary.
If I see that word more than once in a post, I tune out. Some posters seem unable to compose a sentence without it...
I use the word (more than I should), and it's a good old Anglo Saxon word, but not as a verb and a noun in the same sentence. It loses its power with overuse.
(edited to add: my opinion does not apply to facebook rants, one friend of whom uses the word frequently...and I enjoy her rants immensely. This post addresses DU postings.)
