If Trump builds his wall, will American businesses be able to move jobs to Mexico?

Will the CEOs have to hop the fence at midnight with bags of cash on their shoulders?
My guess is the Donald will keep it nice and easy to relocate and exploit

Of course, the border control stations will be there to let the trucks bring the stuff to the U.S. LiberalArkie May 2016 #1

Trump will never be president, there will never be any wall and anyone who buys into this crap needs a shrink.

Having said that, let's for a moment assume that we end up with a President Trump. No congress will give him a cent to build a wall. The Mexican government will (politely) tell him to fuck off, and Donald will sputter, scream and continue his demography. There won't be a wall.

The problem is that Donald has access to the nuclear codes. He could, of course, destroy North Korea. And then use his "credibility" to threaten the rest of the world.

Except that it won't work. Either every nuclear power in the world would realize they are dealing with a maniac and stand against us, or the Joint Chiefs of staff will step in, arrest him, and declare the Vice President as President.

Yeah, I know. It's a tough scenario. So let's hear your opinion on this.

My guess is that you are 100% right. Don's new campaign manager has said that he is just play acting and appealing to the xenophobic republican base that loves to blame our problems on OTHERS. Once Trump were in office, perish the thought, he couldn't or wouldn't do 99.9% of the things that he demagogues on.

Trump says he will 'rip up' NAFTA. From what I read the president does have the authority to withdraw from NAFTA 6 months after providing written notice to the other countries. It would be interesting to see if Trump actually did this. I doubt that he would.

Canada and Mexico could continue to belong if they wanted to. I have not heard that Trudeau wants out of NAFTA. I wonder if the US-Canada trade agreement that was superseded by NAFTA will come back if we get out of NAFTA.
