He's the most undisciplined candidate evah.
He's ludicrously thin skinned
His braggadacio is insanely over the top
He believes, truly and completely, that he has the most relevant foreign policy experience.
Debates. He'll be shredded- and not just by Hillary.
No, I'm not saying he can't win, but I am saying the General election is very different from the republican primary. And he doesn't have the awareness or discipline to run any other way than he ran in the primary.
Hillary would have to run an epically bad campaign to lose to him.

(3,072 posts)If she is the nominee, no petty attack from trump will ever get to her. She has been put through so much shit over the decades that nothing will phase her. Trump will look like a psychotic clown marionette compared to clinton.

(9,033 posts)yeah, that's been evident these past months.

(3,072 posts)He has no ground game and the people advising him are people with 0 political experience. We have seen time and again, the ability to organize and plan is about 98% of winning an election.
He was weak on ground game and that is why Cruz started ramping up delegate stealing.
Trump hired new consultants, started playing a much better ground game, and Cruz just dropped out.
So many here are blinded by the red team/blue team aspect of this that they are not seeing things very clearly.

(16,184 posts)The Republicans managed to nominate someone who's actually possibly put places like Utah and Mississippi in play.

(3,072 posts)The people around here absolutely haaaaaaaate trump with a fiery passion. I am surrounded by the hardcore of the hardcore republicans and without exaggeration or hyperbole have not met a single people that doesn't think Trump is a mix of Hitler and a sexual predator. The people in this state seem like they would rather carve their faces off with a nail file than vote for trump.

(101,311 posts)I get the impression (OK, I'm in a different continent) that they think he's morally deficient. A lot of the 'religious right' in the south have said 'screw that, he hates the same people we do, and that's good enough for us'.

(101,311 posts)which turns most of them away - it doesn't hurt him so much in the "wives should obey their husbands" atmosphere of the Republicans, but is toxic in the wider country.
He despises minorities, and has thrown away any chance of getting a decent vote share among them.
