Trump will be in court over his fraudulent "University" scam. Clinton may well be facing indictments for her e-mail problems.
Then what do we do? Call a national "Do-Over?"
I've never seen anything so screwed up in my entire life.

Whomever they pick for VP will go forward .

(25,816 posts)quid pro quo with the SoS (HRC) will be far more damaging than the illegal server e-mail stuff.
Millions and millions of dollars (bribes) went through HRC to the "charity". It is documented.

(14,886 posts)(I know it's a difficult concept) to show where all this is, as you claim 'documented'. (Free Republic and World Nut Daily don't count as proof).

Instead it seems voters in both parties want a clown show.

(23,156 posts)their nominee after the convention. If, in the absolute worst possible circumstance, something terrible were to happen and the candidate absolutely not able to run (hint: the person dies) then presumably the VP choice would be immediately elevated to Head of the Ticket Status, and a new VP choice would happen. Keep in mind, in 1972 the first Democratic VP, Tom Eagleton, got replaced by Sargent Shriver some two weeks into the national campaign because Eagleton had had the courage to seek treatment for mental illness some years earlier. The fact that McGovern lost the race probably has no connection to the VP debacle, but the size of his loss was probably influenced by the events.
Why either party would be embracing such flawed candidates is entirely beyond me.

(17,064 posts)No other SOS signed an affidavit stating they turned over emails upon leaving office, when in fact they hadn't.
No other SOS exchanged classified information with an uncleared individual, let alone one banned from the State Dept by the POTUS.

(4,642 posts)Though I would love to see Bernie as the front runner this is obvious Hillary's time, there will be banter, disagreement, some tweaking at the convention but in the end she will be the GE candidate.
