As Long as Debbie Wasserman Schultz Is DNC Chair, the Party Is Bound to Fail

http://observer.com/2016/05/as-long-as-debbie-wasserman-schultz-is-dnc-chair-the-party-is-bound-to-fail/

An essential step in reuniting the Democratic party after the divisive presidential primaries will be to replace Debbie Wasserman Schultz with a new DNC chair who can be trusted to remain impartial. What the party needs most at this critical moment is a leader who will reinstitute the ban on federal lobbyists and super PACs buying off the DNC and its members. The ability for Democrats to unite as one party is obstructed not only by the polarity between Mr. Sanders and Ms. Clinton, but in large part by Ms. Wasserman Schultz—who has favored Ms. Clinton and other candidates who court corporate and wealthy donors rather than their constituents.

Ms. Wasserman Schultz has little interest in growing the Democratic party, and is content on maintaining the status quo to ensure she and the candidates she sympathizes with remain in office. In a recent interview on MSNBC, Ms. Wasserman Schultz vocalized her support for closing off all Democratic primaries from anyone not registered as a Democrat.

There must not be an instruction manual for a DNC Chair. Because if you wrote one by how DWS has run the committee and behaved since she was appointed (by PO, BTW), it would have to be titled "How NOT to be a Democratic National Chairman/Chairlady."

The problem is that the Democratic Party—still ruled by the likes of Al From and Bill Clinton—is a party for Wall Street corporatists as leadership is provided in such likeness by Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

5. Report: Less Than 1% of Clinton Fundraising Venture Goes to State Parties
Thu May 5, 2016, 02:59 AM
May 2016
The Bernie Sanders campaign has launched a petition urging the Hillary Clinton campaign to transfer money raised by her massive joint fundraising venture to state parties. This comes after a Politico investigation into the unprecedented fundraising vehicle Clinton formed with state parties found less than 1 percent of the $61 million raised by the venture has actually gone to the state parties. The Hillary Victory Fund is a joint venture between the Democratic National Committee, 32 state committees and Clinton’s campaign. It allows Clinton to collect massive donations at events like the recent dinner at George and Amal Clooney’s house. But it turns out that of the $3.8 million the victory fund has transferred to the state parties, 88 percent of it was quickly moved back to the DNC by the Clinton staffer who controls the committee.

Every 5 minutes she's up there insulting a core demographic (Millennials) or defending a policy most of us find noxious (predatory lending, putting medical marijuana users in prison)

She's been a train wreck as DNC chair.

8. Lobbyist Money Replaced The 50-State Strategy

To be fair, Tim Kaine killed the 50-state strategy. However, that would not have prevented her from resuscitating it.

If you loathe her as much as I, join Tim Canova's mailing list. He hounds her and his research team relays the many forms of chicanery she has embraced in order to try to hold onto her House seat.

If Sanders secures the nomination, she'll be out of not one but two jobs.

... Quite a few of the bodies are buried.

Only way she goes away is in case of a Clinton loss. That will be one effect of many across the party.
