The worst thing about a Trump nomination

The Republicans will lose badly in November and point the finger at Trump instead of themselves for enabling his rise by allowing birthers, racists, homophobes and xenophobes run the place. A country needs more than one sane party to maintain a healthy Democracy. And until their absolute best candidate loses, the GOP will keep running around the room with sharp objects.

The worst thing is the possibility that he could win.

That's why they have bigger, more centrist states like FL and NY as winner-take-all.

Problem is, that same system helped Trump this time around.

Overestimating the collective wisdom of the American electorate is a fool's errand.

The worst thing about a trump nomination is that he could become president.u

The older Eisenhower/Rockefeller/Teddy Roosevelt Republicans are pretty much extinct as a species in national office.
