Has Paul Ryan just launched his 2020 bid?

It's not out of the question. He might figure, Trump is going to lose, and even from Ryan's far-right perspective, a crazy person like Trump isn't that much better than Hillary. And on the other hand, if he really expects Trump to lose big, standing against Trump right now could make him look sane and principled come 2020.

running himself. If he decides to help Hillary win behind the scenes, because he thinks it's to his personal long run benefit, I'm all for it. If Ryan ended up with the nomination this year somehow, he could actually win, and his politics are pretty scary, if not Trump scary.


BTW, I'm assuming your name is from The Wire. Great show.
