WTF is wrong with MSNBC? Right now Tweety breaks away from

his program to give Drumpf's 'speech' to an audience in WVa. He's still going on - and on - and on. How much is that free airtime worth? I swear, if it weren't for MSNBC and the rest of the MSM making themselves willing allies of Trump and letting him spew his poison any time he feels like it for free there might well have been another Rethug presumptive nominee. It's sickening.

He follows orders - his producer cut his program for Trump - same shit they did with Melissa Harris-Perry. Make a sound and you're out. Go public and you get none of your severance benefits.

And yet - they continue as if nothing is happening - all hacks. They love that fancy lifestyle

What if they gave Trump all of that air time from start to finish (this part is fact, especially MSNBC) to make him the Republican so they could drive everyone to Hillary to make sure she wins instead of one of the crazy Republicans like Cruz. Trump will play ball with the other Oligarch's and stands to benefit no matter what happens next. They know Hillary has a lot of baggage and might not make it without their thumbs all over the scale.

Just something to chew on to explain all of Trump's coverage. I don't believe they do it just for ratings. The election is more important to the owners of the MSM than a little more ad dollars that a few more viewers would bring. The viewers that just want to see a train wreck say crazy shit!

Their stage acts are almost identical. They walk to the mic, ham it up for the audience, talk about how wonderful they are, joke about a few democrats, promise the crowd the moon, repeat. Both are charismatic speakers, but neither has anything of substance to talk about. Like Palin, Trump has no coherent policies and cannot speak knowledgeably on any topics vital to the office he seeks, but he can quote any polling data that shows him ahead.

...financially and in ridicule and deny him any opportunity to interview him. The internet exists now; the old Kingmakers are being buried alive before us.

Behold the truth of 'power'. It is only where it is believed to be, and no one believes the media has it anymore. Ergo...it doesn't. This is a universal truth.

It is unfortunate that only Trump managed to demonstrate this principle, but I'll take a crushing of the Kingmakers any day.

he was saying that the next segment would be "tell me something I don't know."

Cut into commercial which was for... something against diarrhea or constipation. There were two people talking I was not listening but the punch line was... "tell me something I don't know." I did hear it and started laughing.

(Don't know if the same commercial is playing at all markets. I know that here most are aimed at seniors who use lots of drugs..)

Is it really doing Trump any favors? Or on the other hand do most people watch it and go
"what an idiot!" ?

Every time I hear him speak without fail I think , This guy is an idiot he has no business being anywhere near the presidency. I certainly can't be the only one .

On need only look at the revolt inside the Republican party to see he is not doing himself any favors even with the republicans.

In ratings, msnbc has about a million viewers for Rachel Maddow, it's most watched show. And the average age of its viewers is about 60.

Less than one third of one percent of the country, and somewhere close to ZERO percent of people born since Bill Clinton took office.

Please stop worrying about network "news." It is dying and good riddance.

Trump is a fucking spectacle-people watch it- it's like a train wreck-I admit it-I watch it for a while-less and less-I'm not proud that I have watched him way more than a sane person would. People here on DU are expecting way more than they should. Cable news is a business.
