DOCUMENTARY CLIPS: The Milky Way

I edited a feature-length documentary film called, "The Milky Way". This film focuses on breastfeeding in the US and why we have such a low success rate. It follows two lactation consultants on a journey through Sweden and Germany to figure out why other countries are succeeding and what we can do here in the US to improve the situation. It also focuses on the personal stories of many mothers from around the world, while exploring cultural norms, family-friendly government policies, kangaroo mother care, and co-sleeping. It is currently screening all over the world and has been translated into five different languages.
