Am I out of step to not want a president who can just "make deals"?

I don't get it. Why does anybody want a guy for president who hasn't done anything but make real estate deals in Manhattan?

Don't people in this country want an inspirational as well as an aspirational for their president?

I guess we have a republican party that is so rotten and out of ideas that they reach in desperation for Trump because he's rich and they aren't but wannabe.

Disgusted here.

It makes me nervous that there are people who think Trump will save them. What went wrong with them?

Truth is, Reagan couldn't even fill the Reagan Mantle.

But how BAD is it when you're down to TRUMP . . . and how worse is it when swaths of supposed Americans think neo-Fascism is a Great Idea?

they seem to just be saying the want America to be "great again." But what exactly does that mean in the context of today's complex world?

I also believe that there is a healthy dose of anti-black sentiment that has people believe Trump when he says Obama has made a mess as president. And Trump plays on that covert racism.

Specifically, what time period.

If it can be said Trump is good at anything, it's which buttons to push on what people.
