Lisa Bundy posted on Facebook that the two brothers looked skinny and frail at a hearing last month.
I could tell that they were not being properly fed, she wrote.
At a court hearing, Ammon Bundys attorney, Mike Arnold, said on Wednesday that the two appeared emaciated after they returned from a court hearing in Nevada, where they face charges related to the 2014 standoff at Cliven Bundys ranch, after the father refused to pay his grazing fees.
Imagine their shock when after repeatedly breaking the law, they were finally taken into custody then served icky jail food just like other criminals.

(3,411 posts)If so, mebbe they can be transferred to the jail. They were donated to these warriors, so they should get to keep 'em, yes?
I actually pried open my creaky ol' wallet to donate to that fine, noble cause!

(58,785 posts)There's a path to something good in there, but Arpaio will reject it if he accidentally strays onto it. Meanness just oozes out of his statements. I don't know if the prison industry trusts his figures or not, but it seems likely they're observing.
Thanks for the story, MADem.
