He knows he will compare badly with anyone of substance.

He'll simply do media "fundraising events" for the troops instead. It will be a fawning celebrity studded "town hall" with pre-selected sycophants posing questions as well as comprising the audience.

Hell, we're already close to that with our own Democratic debates - carefully chosen guaranteed supporters trucked in (thanks stevenleser for that bit of trivia).

Its a sham show. I fully expect Trump to call it. nt
