Donald Trump said he favors a higher minimum wage but it should be left up to the states. That is not the same as saying he is in favor of a higher minimum wage as you suggest. It is essentially tantamount to favoring no minimum wage at all.

very same states that fall all over each other to offer sweet deals and tax money to any corporation that brings 16 jobs to the state for 1.5 years, and then leaves?? Yeah, good plan. Let's leave it up to the states.

But thanks to "states' rights" slavery was perfectly legal.
