Ask yourself...

Why does all TV news focus on Trump, Cruz, Rubio, or ANY right-wing candidate...while we're told the media is all liberal-like?

I'm not sure i get it. It's subtle, it's insidious, it's a deliberate corporate strategy to enforce the meme that Republicans are worth covering, because they're so serious, but then we have Bernie and Hillary. Those jokers no bothers to cover.

Liberal Media? Suck it. What a freakin' crock.

. . . than I do with ANYone from the clown car.

The channel I most watch is CNBC (only because I'm forced to (work)). In between the incessant boner pill ads, retirement package commercials and Cenegenics shills, that veneered orange asshole is on our TV constantly. And when he's not on, some Heritage or Cato stooge or Art Laffer or Grover Norquist (remember him?) is.

Liberal media my ARSE.

It became obvious in the early 2000s that Fox news was deliberately skewing news to back the Republican agenda.
The MSM, esp Fox News, proceeded to hone their programming around Rove and Cheney's narratives. Terror alerts were designed to deflect attention when questions were getting too close for comfort for the Bush admin.

When people started noticing the obvious Conservative skew of Fox the new narrative became "all the other networks are Liberal" hence today's "liberal media" sound bite.
MSNBC was pointed to as the ultra Liberal network , that was back when Keith Olbermann and Tim Russert were still around. After Russert died and Olbermann was fired MSNBC and any hint of Progressiveness were being shoved out the door.
Rachael and O'Donnell were on at night but all day was Republican Morning Joe and delicate flower Mika Brzezinski, or just random commentators repeating what the GOP said and pretending that it had any merit to it, such as death panels, Obama's a Muslim instead of simply proving these people are ridiculous with a little research.

Is all about keeping the controversies up and division does that well, black-white, old-young, Christian-Muslim, Gay-straight, pro choice-anti choice, pro immigration reform -anti immigration ..it keeps eyes on the media and corporations buying ads.
Those raking in the benefits will continue to find ways to influence and divide us , they will adapt to being discovered and continue exploit any situation whenever possible. These kinds of people have done the same throughout history. It is a never-ending battle.
