Cheney could be tied to the whole Bush list of fuck ups and he is almost as unlikeable as Trump.

That would be a Democratic dream ticket.

Cheney likes to stay in the background and pull the strings. Trump's VP would be a great position for him - except that after the inevitable impeachment and conviction Cheney would be bumped into the spotlight, and I don't think what substitutes for his heart would stand it.
