Maybe he can win without women

It's not surprising to me that so many women would be appalled by Donald Trump. As I've said before, it's as if the Republicans had chosen David Duke to run against Barack Obama in 2008.

But it's also awfully depressing that so many men in this country really don't give a damn about this. Trump can spew sexist stuff all day long and it doesn't make them think any less of him.

Sad!

What are you basing that fantasy on?

Maybe some of those who recently registered as Democrat so they could vote for Bernie the Great. But real Democrats will never vote for that. Republicans are having a hard time stomaching him.

I know many life long staunch Democrat former union workers that will vote for him. You don't know
how pissed off people are about NAFTA and all the steel mills, mines and other manufacturing jobs that it destroyed.

Keep believing all your polls statistics if you want. There are 16 Republicans that thought Trump was a joke and every single one of
those talking heads on TV. Then everyone predicted this big civil war in Cleveland and look what we have now probably a civil war
at the Democratic convention instead.

Some casual responses with other citizens in New Mexico lean toward Trump. Martinez (R), our governor is popular. An overall mistrust in media and government propelled some of the encounters.

Even so, I just read a poll for conservatives, here in New Mexico and 71% of them want to "dump Trump." Martinez, our Republican governor is popular.

He made a lot of kone off them.

Not to mention, those jobs are NOT coming back. Many blue collar workers have this fantasy of large, high employment factories coming back. Will. Not. Happen. Modern factories simply do not employ thousands and thousands of people anymore. They are heavily automated with a workfroce a fraction of what they were just a couple days ago.

I'm not sure where the "Trump will win Independents" idea started, but it has little basis in reality.

The same poll indicated that Trump's support among Dems was 8%. Does that qualify as "many"?

In most swing states, look at recent polls from Florida and Ohio, that's where it's decided.

Men in Florida favor Trump over Clinton 49-33, while women are the exact opposite, 48-33. States like Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, etc are toss-ups right now, scary.
