Our internet died early this morning. It was weather related. But we didn't have hail or flooding. We have friends and relatives with major hail damage.

Hail piled up in northwest Omaha during this morning's storm
POSTED: WEDNESDAY, MAY 11, 2016 3:36 AM | UPDATED: 11:10 AM, WED MAY 11, 2016.
By Jay Withrow / World-Herald staff writer
A fast-moving, intense, severe thunderstorm roared into Omaha early today, bringing strong winds, rain and hail.
Most of the hail damage occurred from West Maple Road north to Ida Street and from 99th Street west to 120th Street, said Austin Rowser, Omaha street maintenance engineer.
One city truck with a plow and a front-end loader were dispatched to the area to free up clogged roadways and inlets blocked by hail and leaves, Rowser said.
Northwest Omaha took the brunt of the storm's fury. North-central and northeast Omaha also were hit.
