On a profit level, they should prefer the comparative stability of even a pro-regulation Hillary over the dangerous unpredictability of Trump.

But abandoning 30 years to plotting to get free of constraints on freedom of both action and profiteering by the electorate would be to abandon a dream. They have proven many times that they will choose personal power and control over immediate profits.

That's a surefire ratings bonanza through the otherwise-slow summer months. Ads galore, revenue through the roof and dramarama on a daily basis.

I cringe to think of the lava flow of stupidity and utter non-stories that they'll be cramming down our throats for months on end.
