Thank you all for the kind words.

In these threads and thank you Jefferson23 for caring about a grumpy stranger who has been down on his luck. New York let me down but I am so glad Bernie has not given up.

I have not been here until today. I was just getting overwhelmed with all the bickering and needed to take a break. I wanted to thank everyone for the kind words. I'm not good at receiving kindness since it been a long time people other than my wife and children have been kind to me. Your words are greatly appreciated. Like I like to say empathy is very important and means a lot and it is not very hard to do.

Here is a quick update on my chronic pain issue.

I had some more tests done to prove once again I suffer from neuropathic pain to be able to receive medical marijuana. Had a new CT scan it revealed that the degenerative disc disease has eroded all my discs in my lower lumbar area to the point I'm almost bone to bone in the entire area I also have other problems but I won't go into that. I also had some nerve conduction velocity testing and other nerve testing done which proved I do suffer from neuropathy in my cervical and lower lumbar regions. After all that I did get my card but the out of pocket cost for the MJ would $4800.00 per year here in NY. I won the battle but it seems I lost the war....... After two years I may just have to go back on the pain medication if I am allowed.

Thank you all again, I felt I needed to show my gratitude.

I'm so sorry that after all that you went through you are back at square one. Maybe there are some organizations out there that help defray the costs when you can't afford it? Hell, maybe you can start an organization that can help? I wish I could help but all I can do tonight is offer you a hug and send my thoughts your way.

people that are suffering. One would hope that a Democrat would have empathy but not Clinton. She doesn't see any profit in supporting medical marijuana.

A close second to the cruelest positions is supporting cluster bombs. They are especially deadly to children. Most of the modern world has outlawed them, but not our Hillary. One would hope that a Democrat would be more emphatic.

Fracking that destroys the water supplies of our working class friends is also on the list.

Supporting tough drug laws and long sentences to fill our Prisons For Profits, yep on the list.

believe in the Ayn Rand philosophy, I got mine you can go F yourself............this primary has opened my eyes to see there are very few who have empathy and compassion for those who are suffering. Either with their health or financially.............. When people on the so called left fight against Single Payer, 15 dollar minimum wage and higher education for all something is very wrong in this country. Enjoy never ending war, increased suffering and the rich just getting richer while the poor and middle class fight each other for the crumbs.......

stand up to the tough authoritarians. Many have been raised to blindly follow authoritarian leadership. They don't follow Ayn Rand, they simply follow a tough leader. Like in Jr High, they are the kids that hid behind the biggest bully. They are cowards and willing to sign over their freedoms and liberties for the perceived security provided by a tough authoritarian leader.

in the management of Chronic pain. Medical MJ is just another tool which should be option and should be rescheduled so insurance companies would cover such costs. My 15 MG of oxycodone would cost me $120 per year out of pocket compared to $4800.00 for medical marijuana. When we have an United Healthcare Lobbyist and Correct the Record PAC writing hit pieces for the Mayor of Atlanta we know things will not change if the Third Way wins out once again.

"gradual change" seem satisfied even if the gradual change is backwards.

Another thing, the oligarchy sells us "be satisfied with gradual change like increasing the min wage a tiny amount while the cost of living is increasing at a faster change."

And another, wages are stagnating while bank profits are doubling and tripling. Where does the "gradual change" bullshit fit there?
