The Amazon Echo is an electronic device. It sits in your living-room, it reacts to voice-commands and it listens to everything you are saying, 24/7.

In response to a FOIA-request, the FBI can neither confirm nor deny that they use the Amazon Echo to spy on people.

Good grief--they covered this in The Good Wife. If it's got a doggone speaker on it, or a camera, ASSUME it can be tapped, made to look at/listen to YOU....and behave accordingly.
