Why either Hillary or Bernie could lose... the spotlight

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by etherealtruth (a host of the General Discussion forum).

Yes I know there is still a primary/caucus season going on for the Democrats..set that aside a second..

The Trump has it figured out on keeping in the media spotlight 24/7.. for good or bad.. it does not matter.. he will blow it up any way he can to stay in the spotlight.. to have everyone talking about him incessantly..

That incessant spotlight works in his favor even if he is hounded when a story first breaks..it ends up working in his favor because he is the only thing people hear or see ..

Both our candidates cannot get a moment in the news for the life of them..

We got a problem here... who would have thought this.. now we have politicians fighting it out on 24 characters or less??

I need a cup of coffee! some for DU too.. (_)O (_)O (_)O (_)O (_)O (_)O sheesh

1. Actually, having watched CNN and MSNBC over the last week, Sanders appears second to Trump

Even he doesn't have near the airtime Trump has, but over the past several days, he has appeared in at least once in every one of their shows.

Clinton is mentioned when they talk polls or in segments about Sanders, but in most cases her face does not appear in the broadcast.

The media will go to the drama, and there is plenty of drama on the right.

or CNN and it is Trump. I come home yesterday afternoon and turn on MSNBC for a break and I watch the first 20 minutes of Tweety and he had nothing but Trump. I think that f---g Tweety gets that tingle up his leg for Trump now.
Even the local news has to have something about Trump, apparently they think we don't get enough of him the rest of the day. Front page of the paper Trump. Could it be at some point he is just over exposed, we can only hope. Thank god for Netflix I can escape it there for now anyway. This morning I go to McDonalds for coffee and the subject Trump, I came home.
