A good friend of mine told m he walked past Trump's building

at 721 Fifth Avenue and was stunned to see the number of tourists taking photos. Said he didn't have a clue how many of them had votes but they were deserting the other important sites and rushing for pics there.

This man is a New Yorker

I think I took a pic, for kicks, mostly for the lowbrow celebrity factor, and I was bored.

No one else was around.

42 very frightening minutes, because here we are folks. It's happening.
And to top off this horror, I just heard from my nephew. He said after a good deal of thought, he's going to vote for TRUMP. fuck.
I'm sending him this video asap.

I'm a New Yorker too. They probably just added that monument to glitz to their list of gotta-have selfie locales. I doubt anyone's visiting here just to see that place and then go home.

I'm STILL haunted ( a week later) by that video of the house burning down that was captured by the security cam.
The living room, the cozy couch, the fire seen approaching through the window, the two little fish happily swimming in the lighted aquarium. fuck...I wish I'd never watched it.

...from Rockefeller Center, half a block from 57th St., and 2 long blocks from Canrnegie Hall.

In other words, it's on a common route between tourist-trap zones.

Probably the biggest difference between selfie-takers now with those in years past is that more of them have a little "fuck" sign to hold up next to the big "Trump" sign.
