as a former member of the military who had a top secret security clearance, had anyone done what Hillary has done, they would have been in prison YEARS ago, for a long term sentence.
If anyone today, starts today to do what she has done, and got caught, they'd go to prison.
Now, it's one thing to support your candidate, whoever that may be, but it's quite another to deny this is a serious investigation and not a "security review".
Denial is not just a river in Egypt.
To clarify my "no dog in this fight" comment, if I admit I support Hillary, I'll be attacked by Bernie supporters. If I admit I support Bernie, I'll be attacked by Hillary supporters. I enjoy the every day back and forth here and want no part of alerts, arguments and mean spirited talk, so I keep my mouth shut.
This is NOT a condemnation of Hillary, I'm simply stating that anyone else, not named Clinton, would be doing hard time.

(2,925 posts)and if she is able to walk,[which she will]. that will say so much about the state of our govt. now.

(59,453 posts)you can't tell us because of your top secret security clearance.

(4,941 posts)It doesn't take away from the FBI investigation (not security review).

(135,425 posts)Unless you were one of a small cadre on ARPANET, and that wasn't a classified platform.
And your command didn't have any "IT" divisions either.
Classified Material Control has come a long way 36 years.
Also, in case you are unclear, Hillary Clinton was not in the military. In fact, as first chair in the cabinet, her department took precedence over DOD. All that notwithstanding, the rules and regulations for DOD are not the same as those for the Department of State. It's not "one size fits all."
There was no requirement for Clinton to use State Department equipment while she was SECSTATE. Those rules changed AFTER she departed.
The Republicans are invested in this charade, and Gowdy Doody time as well. I do agree with Bernie Sanders on one issue: Nobody cares about her damn emails.

(30,058 posts)Now as a military man, Colin Powell was a military man for many years, rose in rank and was SOS also. He used email sources which was not protected. Sent email thru those unprotected sources, had emails which was not classified when sent and later the classification was changed. In fact recently he even spoke about number of classified changes. I am not sure he has been "indicted' and sentenced to prison, just saying.

(72,129 posts)Republicans in Congress have been slavering like rabid dogs, desperately trying to find anything, anything, which which to charge Hillary Clinton. They couldn't. They couldn't even make something up that was plausible enough to stick.
So if Republicans in Congress weren't able to charge her with a crime, I'm not going to trust their disingenuous surrogates on DU.

(19,775 posts)Diamond shot and killed someone on 5th Ave on national TV, nothing would happen to him. If a SOS or president was to lie for economic reasons to get the U.S. into a war, nothing would happen to them.
If there were movies of Bill Clinton with a 12 year old, nothing would happen to him.
Nothing happens to people of that level. It makes no difference if she broke the law or not, nothing will happen.

(237 posts)You'd think that by now, if she were guilty as some here are saying, then she should have been indicted months ago
This is turning out be Benghazi 2.0

(711 posts)Are you suggesting that the Federal Bureau of Inquiry is in it for political reasons?

(13,283 posts)They are investigating Hillary's server at the politically motivated request of politically motivated Trey Gowdy and his committee whose members openly admitted to being in it for political reasons.

(2,593 posts)dumped a lot of bullshit on one particular candidate and you absolutely did write a condemnation of Hillary.
....and closing your post by saying, "I keep my mouth shut" is absurd.
This makes no sense.
