And what's scary about these people isn't that they're Satanists (I understand there are many good Satanists); but that they see Satan as an evil being that must be satiated in order to extract a reward.

At others' expense, of course.

Only idiots with no sense of history could think that they can continue to suppress citizens to gain their 'unlimited' power. Oh, and God forbid they ever gain limitless knowledge. That's the last thing they want. Because knowledge of all the people they have hurt with their selfish and greedy practices would drive them all insane. (They can only suppress that knowledge so long, either.)

is about gaining skills in how to dominate people and trick them into following them, IMHO.

They count on us being naive and not suspecting anyone of such deviousness, this is why it works.
