More like sandpaper. But they don't let go.

Great for holding on to food, not so good when you mistake an arm for a baby barracuda.

surgically unhinge the jaw, aka take a knife and split the jaw.
then push the mouth and jaws forward. (while wiggling)
it will still leave a nasty wound but that should remove it.
