Trump Bros Who Beat Up Homeless Hispanic Guy Going To Prison, How Is That Even Fair?

Trump Bros Who Beat Up Homeless Hispanic Guy Going To Prison, How Is That Even Fair?

Just put a Band-Aid on it, don't be so weak and unprofessional. It was probably just a little boo-boo, what’s the big deal?

Well fiddlesticks, what is this world coming to when two hairy, Trump-supporting assholes can’t see a 58-year-old homeless Hispanic man sleeping, beat the shit out of him, break his nose, and pee on him, and THEY have to go to prison? The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office said Scott Leader, 38, and Steven Leader, 30, pleaded guilty Monday to indictments charging them with causing bodily injury while committing a civil rights violation, assault and battery for purposes of intimidation causing bodily injury, two counts each of assault and battery and two counts each of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Suffolk Superior Court Judge Peter Krupp sentenced Scott Leader to three years in prison and Steven Leader to 2 ½ years behind bars, with both sentences followed by three years of probation. Krupp also ordered them to serve 20 hours of community service and complete a cultural diversity training program.

Well, we are glad they are going to prison, though we would have preferred a sentence of “for-fucking-ever,” as opposed to a couple years. We told you this story when it happened, way back yonder in August, noting that it seemed to be the first trademarked, Trump-branded (like his steaks!), Make America Great Again hate crime. We wondered how many more were to follow! One of the brothers, Scott Leader, had told the cops that “Donald Trump was right, all these illegals need to be deported.” Nice guys, obviously!

To his credit (sort of, not really), at the time, Donald Trump posted on Facebook and the Tweeterspace that the “Boston incident is terrible. We need energy and passion, but we must treat each other with respect. I would never condone violence.” That’s nice! Trump also said this at the time:

“It would be a shame,” Mr. Trump said, before adding: “I will say that people who are following me are very passionate. They love this country and they want this country to be great again. They are passionate.”

You know, that's a nice sentiment, but it sort of comes off as a - whaddya call it - LIE when you're on record as saying that you'd like to punch your adversaries in the face, and when you encourage your supporters to beat up protesters and offer to pay any legal expenses they might incur for doing so.

I wonder if anyone in the popular media will ask Trump about this contradiction?
