In today's volatile stock markets there are plenty of typical fallen angels:A fallen angel is defined as any investment-grade issuer whose rating is lowered to speculative grade. By the time of the downgrade, the creditworthiness of these companies has become seriously impaired and their debt obligations carry substantially greater risk of credit losses. If they survive, however, many of these issuers adjust their business models or enjoy strengths that enable them to regain investment-grade status. https://www.moodys.com/sites/products/DefaultResearch/2002000000425343.pdf
Here is a slightly off-center spin on odd "Fallen Angel" news:
LONDON A human like angel has fallen out of the skies over London. The extremely human like creature with what seems to be angel wings as arms appears to have fallen from the sky at around 1:50pm this afternoon.
The Angel like creature was quickly rushed away by what seemed to be undercover police officers dressed in suits and sunglasses, resembling the characters in the hit movie Men in Black.
It comes just hours before NASA announced finding Earth 2.0? the most habitable planet ever discovered. http://www.huzlers.com/breaking-news-real-life-fallen-angel-has-fallen-from-the-sky/
Here is a more plausible account of the actual Fallen Angel; but it's pretty freaky too:
Artists Sun Yuan and Peng Yu are famous for their controversial artwork
They use unusual materials for art including baby cadavers and human fat
'Angel' depicting old woman with wings and has shocked many art lovers
Their work has previously featured at the Saatchi Gallery in London.
Art lovers were shocked by a 'fallen angel' installation that was unveiled in Beijing this week. The extremely realistic work was created by Chinese artists, Sun Yuan and Peng Yu. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/peoplesdaily/article-3173113/Artists-known-using-DEAD-BABIES-human-fat-creations-unveiled-shockingly-realistic-fallen-angel-installation.html
That said, the main reason this article appears is because there was a high probability that most readers of a previous "Fallen Angel" Opening Post missed a hilarious movie, I posted the next day. Complete with unusual artwork, which also "went viral," here is the short movie.

(2,289 posts)many angels didn't survive the huge increase in commercial airline travel. The airlines didn't want to admit the testing of bird crash proof windows was in fact to make sure the high flying planes wouldn't fall from the sky with an angel sticking out of the front windshield.
Angels just find it to be too much trouble to try coming down to earth these days, after all, they have to now check the weather, flight plans, etc. When asked for a comment, an old angel replied that they are just too big and slow to out maneuver modern airplanes. He then held up his own airline ticket and said he had to go so as to make it through security on time for his flight. He did suggest we find some Tooth-Faeries to talk to, since they apparently are still commonly sucked up into the jet engines. As he turned to leave, he laughed and shook his head with a barely heard comment about those chem-trails that conspiracy nuts talk about actually being made from pixie dust.

(15,235 posts)Child angels are supernatural Thai dolls that are treated like humans: They go to restaurants, fly on planes, attend Buddhist ceremonies and from this week they can add getting arrested to their repertoire of human deeds.
A craze for these lifelike dolls, which are believed to bring good fortune, has been sweeping through Thailand and this week certainly has been an eventful one for the child angels a direct translation of luuk thep as theyre called in Thailand.
Police discovered 200 methamphetamine pills inside a child angel in the carpark area of Chiang Mai International Airport on Tuesday, according to Thai PBS. https://www.rt.com/news/330250-thai-child-angel-doll-drugs/
In Thailand, angels are only allowed to smuggle angel dust, a street-name for another drug, onto aircraft.
