Giving up legs, not problem, just get a wheel chair but a bug motor and power.
Hands, (mine getting bad) probably robotics. we can generally figure crap out and have someone build something.

I had to had a nurse give me sponge baths the I was in the hospital and really enjoyed that.
Walking with a catheter and 5 IV lines and such, just a hell of a challenge and improved my balance.

But now the diapers thing for most of us, that is probably the clincher.
