Hell is freezing over...
Oklahoma Governor Mary (Mattress Mary) Fallin, vetoed the bill making performing an abortion a felony. I cannot believe this, the Republicans must have enough votes to override the veto so everyone comes out ok.... What a state we live in!

3. She had an affair with someone on her security detail at one point.
The name has stuck with her. Rumor has it, he wasn't the first, or the last.

4. I think she is smart enough to recognize that all Republicans are doing is supporting the lawyers
who will have to try and defend their vile bill.

12. One theory is that she wants off it.
On this view, she vetoed the bill so as to make herself unacceptable to the base so that Trump wouldn't ask her to run with him. She doesn't want to appear disloyal by turning down the party nominee but she certainly doesn't want to be on THAT ticket.

10. I suspect you're correct.
These types, they know how to pander. Here she's showing her skills at pandering to a slightly different crowd.

9. 2 kinds of gop's: Those who know abortion is an empty election wedge issue
And their foolish uninformed religious zealots who actually believe the crap that's fed to them.
Abortion will never be completely illegal in the US again. Shrub milked the issue and did absolutely nothing about it. |

11. Good to hear
I'm pleasantly surprised that she did the right thing. That bill was clearly unconstitutional.
